Home-based travel agents will have access to exclusive content a week in advance

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. (November 3, 2021) – While the in-person 2021 National Conference for Dream Vacations sets sail next week aboard Celebrity Apex, starting today, November 3, 2021, advisors who are affiliated with the leading home-based travel agencies will have access to exclusive educational content virtually.

“Even though we are back to hosting in-person events, the last 20 months has demonstrated the value of virtual events and we are excited to launch a hybrid National Conference this year,” said Drew Daly, general manager and senior vice president of Dream Vacations. “We love that everybody in our network will have access to the educational workshops that are normally only available to those who attend National Conference.”

In the week leading up to National Conference, the Dream Vacations Training Team will release multiple virtual workshops each day. During the week at sea, a recorded version of all workshops presented live will be uploaded to the National Conference website so advisors at home will also have access to this valuable training material. By the end of the two weeks, all travel advisors within the network will have access to nearly 35 unique, recorded workshops. In addition, the Awards Ceremony recognizing top advisors will be hosted virtually and in-person, so everyone can celebrate their accomplishments from the past year.

“By having a hybrid National Conference, our advisors have more flexibility in how they spend their time on board and where they want to learn,” said Charity Santiago, director of training. “Now, our advisors can attend workshops from their local coffee shop, the pool or the comfort of their own home if they were not able to attend the week at sea. Plus, advisors will have access to the workshops for three months and can re-watch courses that they want to focus on.”

The cruise portion of the Dream Vacations National Conference takes place aboard Celebrity Apex beginning Saturday, November 13th and will feature dynamic content that will engage, inspire and educate. This year’s theme TOGETHER is especially poignant because this event marks the first time many of the attendees will be reunited and cruising again. Highlights of the week onboard include an exclusive question and answer session with Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, president and CEO of Celebrity Cruises; a vibrant panel of industry executives from Carnival Cruise Line, Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean International, Norwegian Cruise Line, Holland America Line and GOGO Vacations; advisors sharing best practices in workshops and at General Sessions; an onboard fundraiser for signature charity Make-A-Wish®; and much more.
