From the Big Apple to the Sunshine State, Dream Vacations Takes the Show on the Road
Dream Vacations recently hit the road with participation at The New York Times Travel Show in New York, N.Y., and at the International Franchise Association’s Franchise Expo South in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Our team got in the New York State of Mind by not only educating entrepreneurs about how they can live their dream by owning a travel agency franchise, but our work-from-home travel agents attended and inspired consumers to book their vacation temptation with the best vacation deals available at the show. In addition, Vice President of Marketing & Strategic Partnerships Rosemarie Reed along with Director of Marketing Kim Faiello led two interactive presentations about Living Your Dream and awarded lucky audience members a free Tumi luggage set, along with $2,500 to be used toward their Vacation Temptation. What’s more, while in New York Rosemarie was interviewed by Entrepreneur magazine about the underrated advantages to owning a franchise. We rounded out the weekend by hosting our first MeetUp of the year with more than 20 headquarters staff and New York-based franchisees in attendance.
Meanwhile, down in South Florida Vice President of Operation Joelle Delva moderated a panel titled “A Day in the Life of a Home-Based Franchise Owner” at Franchise Expo South featuring not only a Dream Vacations franchisee, but also representatives from other home-based franchises. We also participated as an exhibitor, educating entrepreneurs interested in franchising about how they can start a lucrative career in the fun and exciting travel industry.
